Getting it Out

write to think
think to speak
speak to feel
Everyone works differently. For most of my life I have needed to put words onto paper in order to fully experience what was happening to me, both inside and out. Words onto paper feels settled. Like I can finally decipher the swirl of color and brightness or darkness that is the human paradigm. It comes into view with magnifying focus.
And then what? It's come out of me in one sense, but hasn't quite made it to the collective--where I find the truest joy. If that's to happen I have to find a way to share. Words by themselves aren't enough. They have to go somewhere.
There are other ways. Plenty of non-verbal ways. Painting. Touching. Crying. Laughing. Singing. Dancing. Fighting.
but all the ways
require a willing
responsive audience
if we are to feel
seen
known
loved
Aren't we all the same? If what we are experiencing stays inside of us, clamped down and unresolved, our hearts perish in isolation.
